Program WERT

The Program WERT serves for the execution of quantity and cost calculation as well as for the property evaluation of the sewer network system. If necessary, data from the hydraulic computation of sewer systems are taken from the program (HYKAS), graphic sewer planning (GraPS) or the management of operation, planning and inventory data (KAREL). All programs use the same database.

WERT corresponds to the guideline of DWA-Arbeitsblatt A 133 (04/2005) "Erfassung, Bewertung und Fortschreibung des Vermögens kommunaler Entwässerungseinrichtungen".

With WERT, new data can be entered or existing data with the program for Channel-Information system KAREL or the Program HYKAS (Designing & Dimensioning of sewer network) can be further processed. All these programs use the same database.

When account details are ready, the construction cost is saved directly. For old sewer networks, where the construction cost is not known, quantity and cost calculations are accomplished.

In addition, individual prices for manholes, pipelines, excavation, complications, road re-establishment, pit/trench lining, house-connections as well as the construction cost index table can be generated. These price-tables can be project related or global.

The Program leads to the quantitative calculation. Surface for roadway re-establishment,Trench lining as well as earthwork excavation, quantities of pipelines and manhole material are determined. On the basis of these quantities and the price-table, the program calculates the construction cost for each conduit. The cost calculation can be accomplished alternatively for planned and/or existing conduit. Extra for engineering fees can be charged, and miscellaneous deductions for the share of road construction should be considered.

The depreciation is calculated with respect to either the production value or replacement values. If necessary, a variable for the depreciation can be defined if amortization rate changes within service life of a channel. In addition to the calculation of depreciation for each conduit, interest is also accounted.

In addition when desired, the program considers, a time-dependent depreciation from the manufactured date to the present year.

Data output

The format of the result lists may vary and can be arranged individually regarding the contents and format.

Regarding grading and classification of the pipe data, various output options are available.

Besides the detailed computation lists (Conduit-wise) , as per requirement, following lists can also be prepared :

Asset check
Statistical lists, Pipe lists
Combined situation, alternatively either after identical street name or year of construction summarized with appropriate assortment.

Application limitations

In one project, max. 10,000 conduits can be stored.

Data exchange

The data exchange between following Rehm-programs is not necessary, as they use the same database:

KARELChannel information system
GraPSGraphical planning system for Sewer and Water Supply nets
HYKASComputation of Duct system
KANALPLOTDrawing of Channel profiles
MENKOSQuantity and Cost estimation

In addition, the data of property valuation can be exchanged both in the ISYBAU-Format and over Access-Interfaces.
