The Program CON-NET offers the possibility of using Rehm-Program in the network. The program can be either centrally installed in the server, or shared/installed in the client computers.

Depending upon the number of licenses, a program can be used in the different computers in the network several times. Different programs can be used parallely. A component of CON-NET, which is a Network-hardlock, is installed on the server, and with this the programs can be run on the computers on the same network. The installation of the Network hard-lock is alternatively possible at any computer within the network.

The Network-Hardlock is supplied either as hard-lock plug for the parallel interface or as a USB key. After the hard-lock server service is installed & started, the network hard lock on all the computers is available within the network. That means, with CON-NET, only one hard-lock is necessary, in order to be able to operate all Rehm programs in the network.

The components of the CON-NET are: a Hardlock Monitor and a Hardlock-Diagnose tool. Likewise, the hard-lock drivers can be installed and uninstalled from the CON-NET menu. Beyond that, CON-NET further offers other useful functions for the administration of the Rehm Software in the network. So the Rehm Projects and Rehm programs can be looked and located comfortably in the entire network. A summary table shows all programs and the associated license data.

The prerequisite for the deployment of CON-NET is a Windows-Network and the network TCP/IP protocols.

CON-NET administers the various Rehm programs installed on the server and allows simultaneously with different programs to work. Likewise, a program is made possible to run, depending upon the number of acquired licenses to run several programs at the same time.

Software Requirements

In order to be able to operate Rehm-Programs in the network, the network versions of the individual programs are necessary beside CON-NET.
