Program CROSSPLOT

The program CROSSPLOT provides water supply profiles. While drawing, CROSSPLOT uses the data from the program CROSS. The pipeline, the ground profile as well as the pressure lines for up to three operating conditions are represented in the profile. Results of the 24 hr. series simulation can be evaluated.

General

Screen - shots

The trend of the profile is specified in a table. The nodes are indicated successively in the profile. Further data concerning the intermediate points and symbols are likewise included in this list. For tabular data acquisition, there is a possibility for processing the profile graphically in the layout plan in CROSSPLOT or in the program GraPS.

When required, CROSSPLOT can draw the hydrostatic water level, legend and a freely definable stamp of the company. The hydrostatic pressure lines, quantity of water flow, flow velocity, head loss, downward gradient and pressure level are marked.

Planned and existing pipes can be represented differently.

CROSSPLOT uses different symbols (as according to DIN 2425, RH )for the profile drawing. The following symbols are available:

Angle point
Slide valve
Vent
Underground hydrant on top of the pipe
Underground hydrant beside the pipe
Pillar hydrant on top of the pipe
Pillar hydrant beside the pipe with slide gate valve
Shaft hydrant
Garden hydrant
Flush outlet ascending
Flush outlet lateral
Ground-water level
Intermediate points
Text inputs with arbitrary adjustment
Crossing lines with text data

The header font of the profile can be set as per the wish concerning its format and contents.

The particular stamps can be sketched or inserted in the DWG- or DXF format.

CROSSPLOT alternatively draws a legend. All the symbols and line types used in the profile are described in the legend.

Data output

The drawing can be sent directly on the plotter or saved as a Plot file.

In connection with the program CADEX the profile is shown with preview on the screen or can be drawn directly in AutoCAD (AutoCAD 2000 or later versions). CADEX makes the drawing in the DXF format possible.

Application limitations

According to CROSS, the max. possible number of nodes up to 10,000 .

Data exchange

For the drawing, CROSSPLOT uses the data from the program CROSS or GraPS . Intermediate points, among with other things, can be imported from ASCII files or be referred to existing DGM of GraPS.
